Who is EDW?

EDW, also known as Early Dawn Woman. An English version of my Ute name given to me by my Papa Jack Frost. Mique! My name is Tyla Rose Frost and I am the proud owner and maker of EDW Creations. I am an enrolled member of the Southern Ute Tribe, in Ignacio CO.

Here at EDW we believe in fusing creativity, and resiliency together, in order to form unique and undeniably beautiful pieces of art and jewelry. Made for anyone with everyone in mind.

Raw, emotional, human driven beauty. Not perfect. Not Ai. Filled with chaos and anger, grace and wisdom, joyful, even fun and meaningless. Beadwork has been a staple in so many Indigenous communities, and the Ute Nation is very much a part of that story. I am thankful to be in this space and taking up more of it so that others after me can t00!
